A: To correctly uninstall 602PC SUITE 4.2 follow these steps:

1. Click Start - Settings - Control Panel
2. Now open Add/Remove Programs
3. Click 602PC SUITE
4. Then click Add/Remove
5. Click Yes
6. When it asks to Remove Shared Files click Yes only if you know other applications are not using this file

A: To register 602PC SUITE 4.2 follow these steps:

1. Open 602Text (Start - Programs - 602PC SUITE)
2. Click Register Now
3. Click I need a License ID, then click OK
4. Fill out the Registration form online
5. You will soon receive an e-mail with your License ID
6. Open 602Text again, but this time select I already have a License ID and input your License ID

   99% of all registration number problems are from user error. Make sure you are typing an O (alphabet O) instead of a 0 (number zero) and an I (alphabet I) instead of a 1 (number one) and vice versa.

7. Click OK

If you see the error 'Corrupt cabinet file' after you try to install 602PC SUITE 4.2, you will need to download the software again.

A: By default, when you open or save a file, 602Text will display the files in that directory with large thumbnail icons. If the directory in which you are saving has many files, then it will take some time to process and display each file in thumbnail view. The solution to this is to switch from thumbnail view to detailed view. Follow these steps:

1. Open the 602 application (602Text, 602Tab, 602Photo)
2. Select File from the menu bar, then click Save or Save As...
3. Click the Views button from the top bar and select Details

If you are saving to a network drive and performance is slow, you should consult with your Network Administrator.

A: 602Text is not compatible with the WordPerfect format. If 602Text has become the default editor for .WPD files you will need to associate .WPD to WordPerfect. Please follow the instructions for file association online.
