Netscape and deleting server mail
Posted by  Russell Waddington  on Monday, September 29, 2003 at 1:00:33 PM (EST)
In the Netscape options I have selected 'Leave mail on server' and 'delete mail from server when deleted on client'.

But when email is delete on the Netscape client, the mail on the server is not deleted. Does LS2003 support this netscape option?

I use this so my amail is avaible on the webmail, and I am trying to get netscape to clean up the server when email is deleted.

(IMAP support would be nice; it goes along nicely with webmail)

I am familiar with this option in Netscape Mail and it does not work with any POP3 standards based mail server that i have used, so it's not just LS. I can also not get it to work with Bellsouth, Comcast, Cox Internet, and a couple small ISPs.
