the first I ever heard of 602 software is when my jpg pictures became 602 pictures. I did not ask for this change. How do I restore my pictures back to what they were before?

Uhh.. the one you want to the file to open with. If you are complaining that your images were opening in Internet Explorer and now they're not, then you pick IE. If you're complaining that your Word documents don't open in Word anymore, you pick Word.
