Trying to set up mime-type for serving of .css
Posted by  Michael Kristiansen  on Friday, August 29, 2003 at 2:59:19 PM (EST)

I am using Prolan suite 2003 and trying to set up a website on the web server portion of the software.

The html pages are served correctly as mime-type text/html, but the linked cascading style sheet gets served as type application/octet-stream and is not accepted by the Mozilla web browser, for it the type needs to be text/css.

The server is running on a Win98 machine and the cascading style sheet documents have been set to the correct type (type/css) in the windows file type area.

If someone could give me a heads up on how I can get Prolan Suite 2003 to serve the .css files as the correct type it would be greatly appreciated.
