I do not reconize the 'PM NS' log type. but you do seem to be recieving a lot of them. In this log segment most seem to be coming from 196.4.160.14, so i would likely block that IP in my firewall. And then report the IP for abuse.

I have recently been experimenting with resticting site access and have found that restricting only a few URL's stops a lot of traffic from pop-up/unders, banner ads, and commercial spyware (which is what I think you are seeing, e.g. gator). I'm using: ad.*; ads.*; *doubleclick*; *.bizrate.*;*.gator.com and I think one or two others that I can't remember right off. I have done a brief web search and cannot find a list of advertizing URL's that can be safely blocked so I have been searching for junk URL's in the LS2003 listings and in my own browsing.
