"mapped links" vs. open ports
Posted by  Steve Muchnick  on Wednesday, October 03, 2001 at 2:04:25 PM (EST)
I need to open several TCP ports to enable our users to run a java-based terminal application. I'm unclear on whether opening a port (in the conventional sense, as with a firewall) is the same as "mapping a link" in LanSuite. For example, what is the proper LanSuite setting to open TCP port 422 for the entire LAN?

Thanks all....
