Disappearing email

Print to email is an excellent utility for me BUT my emails just disappear. I am using win 2000 and Quickbooks Pro 8.1 accounting. Sending a document to email is OK. I am presented with Outlook Express (SP2), fill in the recipient address and press send and #!poof#! it simply disappears. The document is not in my Outbox, not in Sent, not in Drafts. It has not been despatched either because the same happens on or off line.

Can anyone suggest what the problem might be ?

Some experimentation showed that the attachments supposedly "saved" in OE found their way to some obscure directory deep in the My Documents or some such. Changing to Outlook rather than OE solved the problem with everything now occuring as it should.

Bit strange but, typical of windoze I guess. Interestingly the Print Pack works fine with OE in win 98. In due course I will try it on other machines but now I am going to buy it for my 2000 machine anyway.
