Is there anyway of using pop to stop an open relay sending out on pop? if not any ideas how i can get the pc to stop this SH~T going out?????

POP is only used for receiving mail. I think you mean SMTP open relay. LS 2003 has feature to only allow access to SMTP server after checking your POP mailbox. LS 2003 is free upgrade.
