SOCKS5 Connect/Disconnect

AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) uses SOCKS 5 and I am using SOCKS proxy port 1080. Whenever the client requests a connect to AIM, LANSUITE 2002 reports:

08:30:48 pm SOCKS: 05xx Connect SOCKS5 192.168.0.2

And immediately following is the statement:

08:30:48 pm SOCKS: 05xx Connect SOCKS5 192.168.0.2

xx represents a two digit number that is the same for both messages.The time shown is the time the connection to AIM is attempted.

Any help you may offer is greatly appreciated.

I am also running Norton AV 7.51.854 and Cookie Cop2 2.2, if that is of any consequence.
