Outlook 2002 error 0x8004210A

602 is running on a proxy server between internal lan and DSL model. It polls ISP email via pop3 every hour OK
Outlook 2002 is running on PC and it connects to exchange server running on a server PC internal to our network OK.(In fact that is how 99% of email comes in)
Outlook 2002 is set to poll 602 machine via pop3 every 5 minutes as well to get any ISP email address email.
4 or 5 times a day or so it can not seem to connect to 602 and returns error message. Server timeout is set for 1 minute.

Anyone any ideas?

Lots of times this is caused by somethign conflicting with LS. Do your run Norton Antivirus or a firewall?

I get this same problem. I have no Notorious Norton products, but the company is behind a firewall and my lansuite behind another firewall.
I've had LS running for a few days. It only started having this problem today. No config changes were made. Also, Outlook EXPRESS checks just fine with no problems.
Any ideas now?
