Deleting mails off-line?

Had a nasty e-mail virus - without starting LanSuite, is it possible to delete all emails (rubbish) by deleting all *.ZAS and *.DAT files?

Yes, I had the same problem! Our virus scaning software caught the infected emails and I traced them to the mailbox folder in the lansuite directory. you can view the dat files in notepad if you want to make sure you arn't deleting anything you want to keep.
I just deleted all the files that were about the size of the known infected files and it worked just fine. thank goodness for anti-virus software!!

If you do manually delete (I did it seccesfully to) ther is a seconfd file that goes with the DAT file - from memory I think it is a ZAC file. This should be deleted too.

Cheers
