Incoming POP3 to Multiple Users
Posted by  L Walling  on Monday, August 20, 2001 at 2:12:39 AM (EST)
What would the best way be to route a polled-pop3 accounts contents to multiple users?

I am trying to set this up so a Gentleman received his emails at two locations.

Thanks in advance.

You could set up a "Mali Rule" on one PC, that automatically forward a copy to the other PC. Outlook Express and outlook can do this.

Perhaps you are looking from the wrong direction!

It's not a case of directing the mail to more then one client, it's a case of letting more than one client read the mail in the mailbox. Most email client software will allow you to leave a copy of the mail on the server, either forever or for a period of time. If you do this with all the clients that need to read the mailbox I think you have a solution to you problem.

What do you think of creating two emailaccounts for this user ??
Insert a rule by the alias line.
Both with the same emailadress.
