PDF File Resolution at 200 DPI is Too Low
Posted by  Robert Williams  on Tuesday, June 19, 2001 at 12:47:59 PM (EST)
Functionally this product works as advertised. I've created some PDF files from some Worddocs I have and I love the print to e-mail feature.

However, I don't care for the 200 DPI resolution of the PDF files. The screen resolution is not as I've seen with other PDF files created from other sources that appear sharper on the screen display. Also the 200 DPI resolution translates to poorer quality print when printing parts of the PDF created by Print Pack. Readable, but not sharp.

I have scanning software that produces PDF files and the screen displays and any prints of these PDF's are "tack sharp".

I think the resolution needs to be at least 300 DPI. Can resolution be built into the drivers as an option?

according to the documentation, the output resolution is not adjustable.
I consulted support on this same issue and hey said that it may be available in a future version.
