Text to speech is slient!

When I click on read, there is no sound. I have all the options checked and there is no problem with sound outside of 602. Any ideas?

I believe you must have 602Pro PC Suite 2001 Plus installed to use this feature. That's what I get from ready the Help item about TexttoSpeech.

Thanks for the reply. I do have the Plus package installed, that's why I can't figure out what is going on.

Hmmm....I see. I don't have Plus installed so I can't give you any facts. Hopefully, someone else will give you a reply. Only other thing I can think of is I read where Plus must be "registered", but I'm sure you've taken care of that.

Hi, Find out if Microsoft Text-
Speech engine is installed in your
computer. Look under your control
panel & click add/remove programs.
If not listed, you may want to contact Microsoft.

Thanks, Romeo. I checked and the Microsoft Text-Speech engine is installed. Any other ideas?

Hi John, I can't think of anything
else but re-install the software
(Build 2001.1.03.0013 - the latest
one). Close your anti-virus before
you decide to re-install.

Thanks Rom, I'll give it a try.

Do you have a REGISTERED copy of PCSuite Plus?

I don't know how long you've had it, but it may be beyond the trial time.

You will find that the people with the most problems with the software, are using unregistered versions of the software.

If you need a registration number to can get one here
