I wanted to know if anyone else was having this problem. Files converted to PDF using the 602pro print 2002 are larger in size than the ones created by adobe acrobat. is there a reason for this and I doing something wrong. Thanks

There's a knowledge base article on this very problem..

Why are my PDFs bigger than the original documents?

Large file size is a side-effect of the graphical conversion process.
Print2PDF does not convert each letter of text as would Adobe Acrobat, instead, Print2PDF takes a picture of your document and then inserts it to PDF. Pictures are much larger than text and because of this Print2PDf is best suited for only 2-3 page documents. Larger documents are definitly possible but size could become an issue.
