Outlook connector doesn't work under Windows 7.

We openend a support ticket to ask for support and they stated that it wil not be supported until Windows 7 is released.

When Windows 7 was released last week for volume license customers we reopened the ticket and ask for support and they stated it won't be supported.

When we asked now or ever they replied: To be honest, probably never, because developement of this product will be probably discontinued soon.

I hope they mean Outlook Connector (and have another sollution for it) and not Groupware itself...........

Unfortunately, I am starting to think Software602 is winding down. As found on other threads, support seems to be waning for Groupware, and I am VERY afraid that my reputation is going to be tarnished over this.

I have installed Groupware as the email server for 3 of my clients. I was working on getting 2 more moved over when I read on the message boards of issues others are having.

I now have to not only find another solution, I have to find a way to migrate my users to whatever platform we decide on.

Don't get me wrong, I have been installing Lansuite since version 2003 so I have been around for a while.

In all that time, the only issue we ever had was that with 2004, and the solution was very easy to implement and only occurred sporadically. Once we cleaned out the queue, all was well.

Since installing Groupware in January, after the initial install problem we had, the only issue we have had is that sometimes the backup does not complete, and the interface states that the backup is still in progress. The fix is real easy so it is no big deal as long as I remember to monitor it.

My problem is that what do we do if we have a major issue? I am not that strong with IIS, and I don't know the interactions between IIS and Groupware. With such a small user community, the probability of getting user to user support is small to none.

I am looking at either talking my clients into using Exchange, or closing my eyes and sensabilities and continue to use Groupware.

One of my clients has almost 150 users. After paying close to $2000 for Groupware, I can't wait to go back to him and getting $15,000 for Exchange. Anyone else want to have that conversation?

Agree, already started looking into exchange for our internal use instead of Lansuite, pits been using it since LS2002

pity liked the product and have several of the others as well.

however if someone from 602 would like to jump in and let us all know what is happening ???
