Recently in the development of e-commerce system, we noticed that in the page of "How to buy", earlier link of "Find Local Partner" is missing. Over period of time, Software602 has developed large amount of partners. Even there has been ceritification programmes of partners. The partners provided Sales and Support activities for various products of Software602. Prospective customers not being able to know about local partner would affect their sale. In the recent change it observer that all sales would get channelised thry e-commerce system and will leave nothing for the partners to sell. We suggest you to look again in the change in policy and provide balanced playing field for all. Manish Ashar PiXEL WebWare manish@pixelwebware.com

Dear Manish, whole product scope as well as our business partner network is currently under revision in coordination with development plans of our company. We are not able to answer your questions and fulfill your requests as all our activities in frame of business partners have been temporarily stopped. I will inform you immediately when there is anything interesting for you to know. Regards, Vaclav Dvorak

Manish, I agree with you completely, I was very shocked about this as well as a large part of our business was grown on the back of the Software602 products over the years. I find it extremely insulting and un-professional, they way in which they have handled this situation. I have lost all respect for this company. I even had paid orders that were waiting to be completed and the carpet was pulled out from under us!

We have been very lucky and have not needed Tech Support for Groupware since we installed in late January. Is there still Technical Support? Now I am very worried. I have put 3 of my biggest customers on Groupware. I would hate for my reputation to be tarnished because of the lack of support from Software 602 if I need it. Barry Kucher www.411tech.org

If you guys feel that we need to start our own forum to support technical queries of partners (like us) and customers, we can do so. Think about it. The company has marked a reply that they may start Partner programme soon but we have not heard from them in any time sofar. Manish

I agree lets do it, lets get a support page of our own going. In my opinion, I don't believe that SOFTWARE602 is even still in business any more even though this web site is up. I have sold many installations over the last 7 years and I was very shocked to find out that they have stopped the product. My email address is david@kustek.co.za, any of the other resellers out their that are interested in getting our own forum going lets do!

Premsyl Pech, the CEO of Software602 appears to have started a new company in 2009 called BinaryNow. They have a website at www.binarynow.com. Perhaps you can get in contact with him through that website.

I heard back from the Software602 Sales Department today that LanSuite Groupware 6 will be discontinued in the next 2 to 3 months. The parent company in Czech Republic is discontinuing Groupware worldwide. You will be able to renew your Anti-Virus subscription for the next 2 - 3 months. He also told me that they are preparing an upgrade campaign to allow owners of LanSuite 2004, Groupware 5 and Groupware 6 to change over to Merak / IceWarp Server. Their USA website is http://www.icewarp.us I still have to check them out. If anyone knows anything about the IceWarp software, please reply to this post. Thanks

I was first told about the ice-wrap products from Software602 about 4 months ago, when i first inquired about the current status of the company and the Lan suite product. I was told that they are going to switch to the ice-wrap product, but i looked at it and it is almost 10x the cost of any equivalent LAN Suite implementation. May as well use MS Exchange. Any how i have given up on this product and i am going to the launch of the new MS Exchange server next month.
