SMTP Greeting

How can the SMTP greeting be changed? My mailserver is not broadcasting the domain name with the SMTP greeting and I am getting some emails rejected. When I telnet in I get: 220 Ready I think it should be something like 220 mail.mccartysoffice.com Ready
