The old icon for adding/etc columns of figures has disappeared, eg Sum(J23:J52). The updated version of 602 tab's icon .00 does not allow me to do this. Can you help me with this. Jean Spec

I'm not sure what you're talking about. In my 602Tab, I have a field I can enter formulas in..it's right above the actual data part of the spreadsheet. Are you saying you're missing that?
You do know you can type the formula right into the field you want it to appear in, right?
