Hi fellas, is the following setup possible at all? DSL---LS 2004 (latest)---Draytek Vigor 2910 (VPN)---LAN I'd like to use the WinXP builtin capabilities (IPSec) and have forwarded the needed ports/protocols to the Vigor and opened the way back but can't get a connection (the VPN seems to be established). Any hints? The 2910 could be set in front - but will LS forward the VPN-traffic? Thanx in advance

It should be possible, I had a similar setup but using the LS2004 w2k svr as the VPN Server. DSL > LS2004(Firewall-VPN ports open) > LAN. In your scenario you would have to add some mapped links directed to the VPN Server. Fiewall and proxy log files should help the debug process.

Hi, ok - but I'd need mapped links back, too I assume? Thanx Harald

Short answer is no. As long as the Local side of LS2004 and the VPN are on the same subnet or are routed correctly, you should be ok.

Hi Andy, what software did you use as VPN Server on the LS2004 box? Can't get the Vigor running in my setup. Thanx Harald

Hi Andy, me again tried mappings et al. (permissions, mapped links) But I get "remote administration not allowed on this port (1723). How comes?
