Spam Control
Posted by  Sam Streger  on Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at 9:00:06 AM (EST)
1- Is there a way to have all emails designated as Spam to be sent to the overall Spam listing in the 602 program and not to the individual user accounts.

2- Is there a way to automatically strip all charactors left of the @ sign in the Spam email address and substitute it with a *. This way all email from a domain will be automatically rejected.

1. Yes. Use the send to spam account option.
2. No.

well, I should say:

2. Only for the blacklist and whitelist options. In other words you can add:

*@yahoo.com

..which will block all e-mail from anyone@yahoo.com...but be aware that this doesn't always stop it due to forged headers. It would be better to block the actual servers like this:

*.yahoo.com

Thank you for the response. Will try it.
