Export Address Book from WebMail Client
Posted by  Jeffrey White  on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at 5:40:50 PM (EST)
Using WinXPsp2,IE6sp2,Java Plug-in 1.5.0_06. Have turned IE Pop-up Blocker off and all other security services (firewall, antispam, antivirus, etc).

Using LS2004 webmail client, I choose the address book, then click on the export button. I choose the radio button for all addresses, click OK, and then a window pops up briefly, exits back to the address book window, and claims "Export Finished. Processed addresses:132".

Where did the CSV file go? I never got to choose a location or filename.

Do you have your browser popup blocker turned on? When this happens, it opens a new window then provides a standard download of a csv. I would imagine if you're not getting this, your popup blocker is still blocking, maybe the one in your browser or anti-virus/security application.

No, the IE6 Pop-up blocker is turned off. The status line shows that pop-ups are not being blocked. I have also turned off my antivirus/antispam/firewall and allowed all cookies.

When I click OK and the new window pops up, it quickly disappears. I have tried on 3 different computers, all running WinXP and IE6. Each has a different antivirus/antispam/firewall package.
