WWW Port 80 Issue
Posted by  Keith Boermeester  on Friday, October 13, 2006 at 9:39:53 AM (EST)
I'm having a problem connecting to my web server from any external IP address. I can use SSL, however, I can't use just regular WWW. It worked, and then decided one day it didn't want to work anymore.

Port 80 is open and forwarded to the server on my router

No other application is utilizing Port 80. The only program reporting use on port 80 is Lansuites.exe

SSL on 443 works without a problem at all.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best thing I can think off is to check with your ISP and see if they have decided to block port 80 for some reason. This can especially occure on resdential accounts where their terms of service say that any type of server is prohibitted.
