Lansuite hangs at 50% cpu and no mail routing
Posted by  Erik Espe  on Monday, September 11, 2006 at 11:36:25 AM (EST)
Hello,

Anyone had the same problem? Everything seems OK, webmail and all, but lansuite.exe hangs in about 50% CPU and no mail is routed out from or into the system. No error messages in the logs. Tried a reinstall of lansuite to no avail.

I don't know why you are not getting mail, but the 50% is probably the result of hyper-threading being turned on. Are you on the most recent version?

I am using the newest version on Win 2003 server.

There seems to be a problem with the mail database. First I reinstalled lansuite to no avail. Then I replaced the complete lansuite folder with a two-day old backup, and then everything is OK. A lot of mails are missing, though.

One of the user's mailboxes was nearly full before this happened. Any ideas?

Erik.

Hi,

I am new to lan suite and I have just finished the install but my P4 is also sitting at 50% and like the other post there currently isnt a mail run going on.

I have disabled any service that isnt required such as DHCP, DNS, FTP etc as these are managed on other machines,

any ideas?

thanks
