Encryption broken by using "Preview" on a Mac?
Posted by  Werner Tars  on Thursday, August 31, 2006 at 6:34:39 AM (EST)
I sent a password-protected e-mail to a client who used Preview (comes installed on OSX) on a Mac computer to simply double click on the file and it opened -- with no password!

Is this a bug? Has it been corrected? If this is a bug, this security feature in the software is rendered useless as anyone with a Mac can simply open all files -- password protected or otherwise -- by just double-clicking.

Please reply! This is a huge issue!

(I believe I am using the most current version of Print2pdf)
