Overlaping lines on faxes

When I received a fax it came with lines overlaping and I do not know how to resolve this issue

Sounds like a noise/connectivity issue but could be a problem with your modem not using an optimized string. You might want to talk to your modem manufacturer and see if they have an optimized modem string.

Could also be a bad modem.
