Python and CGI:help
Posted by  Pippo Pluto  on Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at 1:10:35 PM (EST)
I tried to run some cgi script written in Python. I put my scripts in the CGI-BIN dir, I mapped .cgi and .py files to the Python interpreter (by the Web configuration tab). Lansuite lives in d:\lansuite and Python is in d:\python. On the same machine I have Apache running so thast my scripts could also be tried there.
Simple scripts run ok on Lansuite but there is one which tries to retrieve some records from an sqlite table named "address": in Lansuite I have the error "query impossible to execute: no such table". Of course the table actually exists and the same script with the same sqlite database works ok in Apache cgi-bin.

Anyone could suggest something or cast some light over the cgi configuration in Lansuite? Thank you

I reply to myself saying everything is ok and I can state there is no problem using Python as cgi scripting language.
My previous error was due to the fact Lansuite looks for database files in the Python dir and not (or before) in the cgi-bin dir.
