Fax Port
Posted by  Michele Costa  on Wednesday, November 09, 2005 at 4:12:19 AM (EST)
Hi,

I have a fax server installed on my PG behind a router d-link.

My internet connection have a static IP and I need to send fax throught my PC fax602 server when I'm in another office in my town.

So, i think thats possible connect the 602fax client througth an internet connection from my PC fax602 server.

Please, tell me what is the fax602 port to make a router port forward
to connect the fax client to the fax server with internet connection.
The grafic:

My PC --> fax client --> internet --> router --> faxserver --> modem fax --> send fax

Is possible?
What is the port?

Thank you

Michele

Here is a Knowledge base artitcle concerning LANSuite prot numbers. The FAX apperently using port 25, so you need SMPT activated.
