Hi, when I want to listen a music file from my home PC where I am accessing my songs via the www server of 602 lan suite, it tries to execute this file with programs installed on the server. Also downloading the files is not working. But the download works if I change the extension to xx. Any idea how to solve this problem? Thanks Cem

So far this is what i have come up with...Edit the socksdll.ini file. add the mime type.."application/octet-stream=zip". Unfortunatly you cannot add EXE to the mime type or else webmail will not work.

you can add other extensions to this line, seperated with a TAB.

Hope you guys are still around.... I ran into the same trouble with the latest release. My index.html has reference to load a midi file from the same folder as the homepage. When browsing to my 602 lansuite2004 homepage, the midi file launches on the server, not in the user's browser. I see the suggested solution for this. However, what happens if one of my users, uploads an exe file into their webpage space. Having this file execute on the server is not a good thing. They could take control of the server with the right exe file. Just wanted to check if anyone has thought about this security issue???
