602 PC Suite ~ security allerts
Posted by  Robert Tasker-poland  on Friday, March 15, 2002 at 4:56:54 PM (EST)
Whenever I start up the word processor in 602 PC Suite for the first time in the day, even when disconnected to the internet, I get an alert from my Firewall stating:
An instance of "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\RNAAPP.EXE" is preparing to access the Internet for the first time.

I found out that RNAAPP.EXE is a Windows System application to do with dial up networking and seems to be able to collect and send a lot of different information, but, why would the suite be activating it. It's only this suite that does it. Ad-aware has found no spyware in it and virus scans check out ok.

Puzzled...any answers?

Rob
