Importing messages

Hello,

Due to a crash of my mailserver, I had to re´nstall it completely. Baaad: I've been out for 10 hours or so.

Now I make backups of messages, but I have never exported the users before (stupid, I know...). Now I have a whole lot of messages, that I cannot seem to get into the users mailboxes. I had to recreate the users, so their mail box id's are very different. Should I list the messages in some table or index after copying the message files into their maildirs?

Thank you in advance!

Lex

The easiest way to do this is to copy the old lan suite to the new lan suite installation then reinstall lan suite again so it will pick up the user accounts.

You don't want to know the hard way :) ..it involves opening each message and forwarding it to the appropriate user..which is the only other way to do this.
