io/internet directory full
Posted by  Pierre Borgne  on Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at 3:54:54 AM (EST)
in the lansuite log I often have the following message
"Corresponding data file .x not found for .d command file
.x file renamed .xxx

because of that my io/internet directory has 65000+ .xxx files

Is there a risk to delete theses files manually?
Is there a way to prevent this directory from filling up?

thanks
-Pierre

Delete them like you would any other file.

Are you running any anti-virus software? This might be caused by the AV software not letting you run file operations on the files due to them containing a virus. You have to set up the av software to allow all files to be written to the lan suite folder and all sub-folders. These files exist because they could not be deleted by LS.
