SPAM filter priority?
Posted by  Douglas Rosenberg  on Tuesday, June 07, 2005 at 4:44:19 PM (EST)
What is the priority given to the Global SMTP blacklists and whitelists? In other words, if I check the boxes for several of the "Blackhole" services, but then add to my SMTP Whitelist a particular address that happens to be listed on Blackhole, will the email be accepted or rejected?

I am corresponding with someone in Argentina whose mail server is listed in Blackhole for some reason, and I want to get the messages without disabling the Blackhole list altogether.

Thanks,

Doug

According to http://support.software602.com/products/ls2004/installation.asp?id=6.5

IP Filter -> whitelist -> blacklist -> dnsbl -> bayesian.

I have added to whitelist an address in blackhole, and it passes thru succesfully.
