Version 0413 crashes on WinXP and Win 2KPro

Installed 2004 0413 on a WinXP SP2 unit that's fully updated. Works OK until POP mail is triggerred by either Outlook or Outlook Express on Lan connected to server..when system crashes. Tried reloading on a Win 2KPro fully updated system with same result at the same trigger point. Tried going back to January version with same result. Appears to be triggerred by one of the email addresses which worked before. Any advice?

Does LS crash or the system crash with a reboot? Have you tried disabling the automatic reboot feature if it reboots to see what the stop error is? System crashes as opposed to just the software crashing indicates a stop error/hardware problem. I've seen that stuff mostly revolve around a bad or Windows HCL unsupported nic. Driver updates might help too.

Thanks. Full computer crash, blue screen and all on Win2K, usual reboot on WinXP. The four NICs were re-installed on both computers and worked OK in direct connect via PPPOE with ISP. Have done the driver upgrades as well.
Have now reinstalled 0413 overtop January version - same problem. Trigger confirmed as being one email address on another computer on LAN when it queries the server for mail.

Blue screen=hardware issues. Probably your nic as mentioned previously. Might want to try swapping it out or updating the driver.
