Our cable ISP now requires login and password to send mail. Can this be done on Lansuite ? OutLook Express clients can't find ISPs' SMTP server through the Lan Suite server.... Tried mapping and IP Filter with no success

The 2002 version of LAN SUITE has this capability in the advanced SMTP settings, or you can create the mapped link. Remember, in order for the mapped link to work you will need to point OE at the LAN SUITE server and not the ISP's server. Also, be sure you do not create a port conflict by putting the mapped link on a port that a LAN SUITE service is using, if you use ports 25 or 110, you will need to disable the smtp and pop3 tabs in LAN SUITE.
