Faxes received not in email

I have a strange situation with receiving faxes. Sometimes LanSuite forgets sending the faxes to my e-mail adress. Eventhough the logfile states that it did deliver a message:


16:12:52 FAX: [1] Picking up line.
16:12:57 FAX: [1]
16:12:57 FAX: [1] START -> Receiving data
16:12:57 FAX: [1] Fax calling
16:13:38 FAX: [1] Received (pages) : 1
16:13:38 FAX: [1] Reception complete
16:13:43 FAX: [1] END -> Receiving data
16:13:43 FAX: [1]
16:14:18 SMTP: Processing 30f5bcc3 message...
16:14:18 SMTP: Processing message '30f5bcc4.x'/'30f5bcc4.d'
16:14:18 SMTP: 30f5bcc3 message sent.
16:14:18 SMTP: Anti-virus checking of incoming message 30f5bcc4: message is clean.
16:14:18 SMTP: Message delivered to 1 local users.

But i actualy didn't receive this fax by email. Most of the time it works but sometimes it doesn't and that frustrates me.. To prevent missing important faxes i also let LanSuite print it out but this shouldn't be needed....

Anyone an idea?

I have encountered the same problem. I expect we may see a fix in a future release.

Unless the fax is specifically routed to a user, the administrator/first account created in Lan Suite should get them by default, or at least the person designated to receive "unsorted faxes". Did you check these accounts?

I'm the only administrator in lansuite and the only one allowed to receive the faxes. And it does work most of the time. But sometimes it just doesn't work... And i can't find a reason why it doesn't work and where the messages are going to. We have only 4 accounts in lansuite and the message doesn't appear in one of them.

Have you searched your LS server for "30f5bcc3.*"? (no quotes) It might have been mis-routed or something similar. This will at least give you a mailbox ID (the folder it's located in) so you can see what account it's located under. Mailbox IDs can be found in the title of the user properties in LS.

10:45:00 SMTP: Processing message '30f665bc.x'/'30f665bc.d'
10:45:00 SMTP: 30f665bb message sent.
10:45:00 SMTP: Anti-virus checking of incoming message 30f665bc: message is clean.
10:45:00 SMTP: Message delivered to 1 local users.

note that there is no "Message delivered to 1 local users" after "Processing 30f665bb message" which is the fax as far as i can see.....

Did you search your computer for the files as I suggested? What directory are they located in?

The file doesn't exist on the whole harddrive....
