Web page authentication

The webmail portion of the 602LS webserver requires a password to access a mailbox.

How can I use that same technology for my home page?

You can't. the web server does not support http authentication beyond something in a CGI script. You could probably use PHP and write some kind of sessioned script to authenticate your users, but that's sort of beyond the scope of Lan suite.

There's pretty detailed instructions for installing php on lan suite in the knowedge base.
