dhcp question
Posted by  Saddy Saddy  on Saturday, February 12, 2005 at 9:59:02 AM (EST)
i have two nic which serves two client coms. they are: 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.2.1

sometimes the x.x.2.1 nic is connected to a 'visiting' com, like a laptop. this 'visiting' com is not always the same one.

how do i get dhcp to give out ip addresses on both the nic? it seems like i can only select one dhcp server ip.

correct, DHCP works only on 1 NIC.
If you use a DSL router, maybe you can use it as DHCP on one of the NICs
