Unable to download big mail from ISP

I am experiencing a problem when downloading a e-mail bigger than +-4MB from my ISP. Everything look alright until the mail has been downloading for 10 minutes. A message appears on lansuite console saying "Winsock error" and then my connection to the internet disconnects. I have no problem surfing the web for hours, but only experiences this problem with mail. The message then stay in the mail qeue until I go and delete it through a web interface my ISP provides. Lansuite will also download all the small emails but leaves/times out on the big ones. ??????????

what's the full winsock error message?
