G'day, I'm unable to transfer files to a remote server if the firewall in LanSuite 2004 is enabled, but can do so if it is turned off. LAN consists of 1 PC running LS2004 and 1 attached client. Both PCs are running WinXP, using static IPs (192.186.X.X.). Static IP for the client Pc has been entered in the IP filters, and the client PC can browse the internet, receive mail etc. without a problem. LanSuite firewall is configured as MEDIUM. FTP client is Leech FTP, and has been configured as per instructions on this site. Client PC is able to connect to the remote server, but times out when performing the initial LIST command on the remote site. If the LS firewall is turned off, I am able to connect and transfer files normally. I have tried several other FTP clients, including WS and SmartFTP. Both terminate with the same error. Any ideas?
