linking to another sheet

I am probably missing something simple, but I can not get 602 tab to link to another spreadsheet. I get a Message: "unknown name". I would greatly appreciate any assistance you could give.

Are you talking about referencing cells on another sheet? Check out this KB topic:

apparently works only within a workbook, I want to link to an entirely different spreadsheet. I do not see the difference in opening a workbook and opening one large spreadsheet, which is what I am trying to avoid.

Hi, maby i can help? ( Me dutch, don't mind me spelling)

to comunicate betweensheets from totaly different documents, create your own database on youre computer. (see page 152 from de manual HTML file, free to download on this site).
Start-Stettings, Control Panel, UserDSN, ODBC Data Source Administrator to specify the new system data source.
