At the end of this month, AVG antivirus 6.0 free edition will expire...
I really don't need to upgrade Lansuite 2004 to 2004 version, it works on a simple win98 and i have just a few users.. but i need a antivirus protection too.
Someone can tell me if have used another antivirus with lansuite 2003 or if is possibile to use the new AVG free edition?

I would imagine the new AVG will be supported under Lan Suite provided the engine doesn't change from the 6.x and 7.x versions. Be aware that if you are using AVG Free on a network computer or server (which is what LAN Suite is) you're violating the license for the free version.

But... again..
I had a licensed AVG version....
But, i saw on the AVG website a lots of versions!!! WoW!
I can't make a decision, i have just 3 PCs now... but i would buy the AVG Pro with network administration...
What you think about? I will made a right decision?

The only way to guarantee you have an AV solution that works with LS is to buy the Anti-Virus edition. I think it's a great product and I have clients who use both the Anti-Virus edition and AV on their client machiens. 2 levels of protection is better than one.
