Duplicate LDAP hits
Posted by  steve rogers  on Monday, October 04, 2004 at 8:21:34 AM (EST)
I got LDAP working, but when I perform searches I gives me duplicate entries. Each hit is displayed twice. Could this have something to do with aliases (each user has one alias)?

Are the aliases the same as the username?

username: srogers
primary domain: mydomain.com
alias: sroegrs@my-domain.com

Note alias has hyphen between "my" and "domain", otherwise is same as primary address.

what exactly are you searching for? if you search for user*, you will be returned with "user@defaultdomain" and "user@aliased-domain".

if I search for user I get two instances of user@mydomain.com, but not user@my-domain.com.
