602tab has caused an error in 602TAB.OCX

Why am aI getting the following message ;602tab has caused an error in 602TAB.OCX,when I open or try to open a tab file I was working on? I had entered a sum formula that was not right, but it does not let me delete or clear cells and instead gives me the aforemetrioned error message.
