I am testing XPSP2 and I get the following error:
CreateDispatch Failed and I cannot seem to get it to print a PDF.
I do have the firewall ports open for file and printer sharing.
Any Idea's?

is the prnpack.exe file running on the client and server's process list? Can the client computer communicate with the server computer via file sharing?

Hey Robert,
Yes, prnpack.exe is in task manager on the server, and on the client. Also another yes, I can \\servername and get a list of shared files on that server.
The pc I am using for testing is an old clone, it's got a PII, 233MHZ processor, and 192mb of ram. I put a 40gb hard drive in it, so its got heaps of drive space. I have installed AutoCAD and all our standard programs on it, so I can test, and it seems to run everything else ok. All our other pc's are creating pdf's ok, it just seems to be this machine. Even our two IT dept pc's with SP2 on already seem to create pdf's ok. It seems to be specific to this machine. I hope this info helps you understand the issue. Many Thanks,
