602Text questions/ problems
  Posted by  Max Leenarts  on Thursday, July 22, 2004 at 9:34:54 PM (EST)
Dear fellows;

I have 3 questions/ problems about the 602Text:
1. I cannot make colums in the text. In MS Word you select the text and you can format it in 2 or more colums by the button on the toolbar. In 602 the only option I find is in menu Format > Section & colums.... But it doesn't work.
2. When I use lettertype New Roman,I see very odd open spaces in words, letters have no space in between in other places and space between words varies greatly. If I use another lettertype, the problem is away.
3. I cannot highlight/ select the whole document; there is no 'select all' option in the Edit menu (as in MS Word) The only way to highlight/ select the whole document is by CTRL + A.

Thanks for your advice, Max.

1) http://support.software602.com/kb/view.aspx?articleID=757

2) I have noticed that this happens with various fonts in other applications as well (not just PC SUITE. I believe it is a problem with the resolution of your monitor/video card and the actual font size you are using with this particular font. Times New Roman looks great on my computer.

3) I can select all by doing CTRL+A

Thanks Robert, I think this helps.

Dear Robert,

I tried your suggestion for question 3; it works only for full document but not if I select only a part of the text.
