602Lan Suite and Firefox 0.9.2
Posted by  John Crawford  on Sunday, July 11, 2004 at 3:54:34 PM (EST)
After upgrading to 0.9.2, 602 LanSuite is prompting other users in my household to upgrade to the paid version of LanSuite.

I am using the free 5 user version of LanSuite and there are only four users in my house. I am the only one trying Firefox, the others are using IE6. It does not prompt any particular user but does so to the users randomly.

This did not occur with 0.9.1.

I only have 1 mailbox on Lansuite. I use IP filters to determine access to Lansuite.

Lansuite version is 2004.0.04.0419

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using DHCP? I have seen this happen when the DHCP lease expires..

For this small of a network you should be using static IPs for management purposes. DHCP is really designed for large networks where management of static IP addresses are impossible or just not practical.
