confusing passwords

I can just about work out all the setup for lansuite, but outlook keeps refusing me access to my mailbox, though I can send emails, and I know that messages are being received by lansuite. I am probably getting the password system mixed up, between windows logon, users in lansuite, and isp settings.
I know I sound stupid, but please help me, and I'll go away!
gideon.

I sent a mail to thesupport team too. apparently, its because I have virus software running. I disabled it, and have no password problems.
I also have no virus checking either, which is worrying.
Any ideas on how to plug norton in to lansuite, anyone?
cheers,
gideon.

Email scanning is not an option with the 2000 version of LAN SUITE because Virus scanners interrupt the pop3 and SMTP ports. I would suggest you upgrade to the 2002 version. Then you can use AVG for free.
