Q: Can I have edock create an automated email message to a user when a new file is placed into a directory that is owned by that user?

eDock doesn't support anything like this as far as I know. I don't even think there's a script out there that could do it, but I'd imagine anything's possible if one tried hard enough.
So the answer would be "not very easily".
