NAT - Failure to save config
Posted by  Graham Foster  on Tuesday, May 04, 2004 at 1:51:37 PM (EST)
When using the client GUI, I cannot save the NAt configuration. "Saving" comes up and the progress bar gets to about 80% - and then it just freezes. Rest of the computer is fine. If I kill the task and restart - the config is NOT saved. Is there a text file somewhere that I can update to get around this? (Win XP)

Weird. Never seen anything like that before. I wonder if you have some kind of program running that would prevent registry reads/writes or you're running the software as a non-administrator user and it's causing a problem when it tries to write to the hard drive.

Does "everyone" have "full control" of the main LS folder and the child folders?

Its running on my XP (Home ed) system as a trial - so I don't have a secutiy tab. Yes I am local admin for the macgine.
Anyway - I'm happy to edit some config file or other (even the registry) if yuo can give me a starting point
Thanks
